Big Peach In The Running for World Record

It 's got to be our beautiful weather ... or mabye it's our soil? Perhaps it's the sunshine that washes over our farmland? Whatever it is, Peach County has produced what might just be a WORLD RECORD PEACH! That's right. What could be more appropriate than the county named after one of Georgia's major crops, which sits in the middle of the "Peach State" to produce a record breaking peach?
As of right now, Pearson Farms is waiting to hear back from Guinness to find out if their 1.8 pound peach will tip the scales into the World Records! Currently, the record lists a 1.12 lb Canadian peach which entered the ranks back in 2016.
While the excited residents of Peach County wait for the results from Guinness, the giant fruit is kept under lock and key in a freezer in an undisclosed location. Just kidding. Well, kind of.
I sure hope the judge from Guinness is named James.
