THE BEST OF GEORGIA:
WELCOME TO THE PEACH CAPITAL.

Our county seat, Fort Valley, is known as “the peach capital of Georgia.” It lies at the center of a dynamic industry that cultivates over half the peaches harvested in the state. Peach County is regularly one of the top producers in the United States (we’re also proud to be #5 in pecan production). Every year, thousands of visitors flock to the Georgia Peach Festival in Byron and Fort Valley to taste dozens of varieties of peaches and enjoy the world’s largest peach cobbler – which seems to reach more epic proportions every season. It’s a highlight of summer, along with the heavenly scent of fresh peaches in the air everywhere; summer here is an absolute delight for the senses. The peach is a natural symbol for our county. We are truly Georgia’s Peach, the ideal blend of business leadership and exceptional quality of life. Who says you can’t have it all? You can when you work and live in Peach County, Georgia.   GROW IT SWEETER WE GROW IT SWEETER
