Peach County's public schools have a long and storied history and a solid reputation for academic and athletic excellence. Led by a five-member board and Superintendent Dr. Lionel Brown, the Board of Education operates six schools in Fort Valley and Byron. All schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

You do not have to live in Peach County to enroll; however, there is an out-of-county application that must be completed and reviewed/approved by the school system.
