Board of Directors

OUR 2023 BOARD OF DIRECTORS.                                     

Peach County is fortunate to have a diverse group of citizen board members who care about the economic environment and stability of our community.  They graciously volunteer their time to work hard and plan for development in Peach County and they represent a wide range of backgrounds - all of which lends much needed insight and perspective for continued growth.  Their collective experience in business, agriculture and manufacturing make them an ideal mix for an informed and well-prepared board.

David Cleveland, Chairman

David Cleveland was born and raised in Fort Valley, Georgia. During the summer months and after school, he spent countless hours working on his family’s peach and cotton farm and grew to love all things agricultural.  He attended Peach County High School and went on to receive a degree in Agronomy from the University of Georgia.  David is President of Cleveland Tree Company – a 160 acre ornamental tree nursery and Cleveland Organics, LLC, a thriving organic pecan farm producing a number of delicious treats.  The Cleveland’s have two retail locations where their wears can be seen: one in Perry, Georgia and the other in downtown Fort Valley, Georgia. 

David is the Secretary-Treasurer of the Flint Energies Board of Directors, an electric co-op based in Reynolds, GA, with service locations throughout the region.  He sits on the advisory board for SunMark Community Bank located in Fort Valley and is a member of the I-75 Corridor Council representing Peach County, GA.

He is married to Beth Cleveland and has four grown children and one grandchild.                       

Albert O'Bryant

Albert O'Bryant is a native of Peach County.  After graduating high school, he attended Arkansas State University, Ball State University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  He is an entrepreneur at heart owning several businesses in the area to include a Christmas tree farm and several convenience stores.  He is also the President and owner of Built-To-Suit-Construction, Inc. and Cool-N-Dry Storage, LLC.  Mr. O’Bryant has been active in the Middle Georgia business community for over 36 years.

He is married to Delilah Tabor-Harris and has four adult children and one granddaughter.

Robert Vinson

Robert Vinson has been a long-time resident of Peach County with family roots dating back to the 1800s.  He is the owner and CEO of Vinson Trucking and Excavating which is a family owned and operated business in Byron, Georgia. 

He is married to Para and they have three grandchildren.

Bill Gresham, Secretary/Treasurer

Bill Gresham, recently retired from his position as Senior Lender and SVP of State Bank of Cochran, stays actively engaged with development efforts in and around the Middle Georgia area.  Bill was in the banking industry as a commercial lender, department manager, city president for 30 years when he started his career with SunTrust Bank in Macon GA.  Bill is a graduate of Georgia Bank Association’s Executive Management Program and holds several banking diplomas from American Institute of Banking.

He completed the inaugural class of Leadership Peach in 1989. Bill was Chairman of Peach County Board of Education from 2000 – 2006 and is the past president of Fort Valley Kiwanis Club, Byron Exchange Club and currently serves as the Treasurer for Ocmulgee Region of Porsche Club of America. He is currently the Chair of Flint Energies Credentials and Elections Committee and has served for 15 years.

Bill married Cindy Melton Gresham in 1980 and they have one son, Jacob Gresham. Bill is certified by Porsche as a driving instructor and enjoys time at the race track with students. He also enjoys fishing and golf.

Mike Huckabee   

Mike Huckabee was born and raised in Fort Valley, Georgia and has lived here all of his life.  He owns Lakeside Trees, Inc, a 125 acre tree farm.  He attended Georgia State University.  He is a former Board member for the Flint Energies Foundation; former Board member for the Perry, Georgia Tree Board and was appointed to the DAPC Board in 2016.

He is married to Maria and has two children.

Kelvin Blalock

Kelvin Blalock is a successful business owner and community activist in Peach County and has lived here all his life.  

Tate Redick 

Tate Redick is a successful business owner and longtime resident in the community.  He also serves on the Joint Development Authority of Peach County and the City of Warner Robins.
