Board of Directors

OUR 2025 BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

The strategic vision for Peach County's future is shaped by its dedicated citizen board. These volunteers, with their diverse backgrounds and deep understanding of business, agriculture, and manufacturing, provide invaluable insights and guidance. Their commitment ensures the economic stability and continued growth of our community.

David Cleveland, Chairman

David Cleveland is a testament to the power of local roots and entrepreneurial vision. Growing up on his family's farm in Fort Valley, he developed a deep-seated love for agriculture, which he translated into a successful career. Armed with an Agronomy degree from the University of Georgia, he founded Cleveland Tree Company, a 160-acre testament to his horticultural expertise, and Cleveland Organics, LLC, a producer of premium organic pecan treats. These ventures are proudly showcased in their retail locations in Perry and Fort Valley.  David’s leadership extends beyond his business ventures. He plays a vital role in the region's infrastructure as Secretary-Treasurer of the Flint Energies Board of Directors, and contributes to the financial stability of his community as an advisory board member for SunMark Community Bank. He also actively participates in regional development through his role on the I-75 Corridor Council. At the heart of David's life is his family: his wife, Beth, their four children, and their grandchild.

Albert O'Bryant

Peach County's own Albert O'Bryant has spent a lifetime building and contributing to his community. After graduating from local schools, his thirst for knowledge took him to Arkansas State University, Ball State University, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Upon returning home, he channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into a series of successful ventures. For over three and a half decades, he has been an integral part of the Middle Georgia business community. Perhaps most visibly, his Christmas tree farm brings a touch of seasonal magic to the area, while his convenience stores serve as cornerstones of daily life. But Mr. O'Bryant's impact extends beyond retail. As the President and owner of Built-To-Suit-Construction, Inc., he has played a role in shaping the physical infrastructure of the region, and through Cool-N-Dry Storage, LLC, he provides essential storage solutions for local residents and businesses. His commitment to the community is unwavering. Away from his business ventures, he shares his life with his wife, Delilah Tabor-Harris, and cherishes his role as a father to four adult children and grandfather to one.

Robert Vinson

Robert Vinson is a name synonymous with Peach County, a place he has called home for his entire life, and where his family's roots extend deep into the 19th century. This rich history has fostered a strong sense of belonging and a deep commitment to the community he serves. As the owner and CEO of Vinson Trucking and Excavating, a thriving family business located in Byron, Georgia, he embodies the values of hard work and dedication. From small-scale projects to large-scale operations, his company has consistently delivered exceptional service, earning a reputation for reliability and professionalism. Mr. Vinson's leadership has not only driven the success of his business but has also contributed to the economic vitality of the region, providing employment opportunities and supporting local development. Beyond his professional achievements, Robert places great value on family. He and his wife, Para, are devoted grandparents, finding joy and fulfillment in the lives of their three grandchildren, ensuring that the Vinson family's strong connection to Peach County continues to flourish.

Bill Gresham, Secretary/Treasurer

Bill Gresham's legacy in Middle Georgia extends far beyond his recent retirement from State Bank of Cochran, where he served as Senior Lender and Senior Vice President. His 30-year career in the banking industry, beginning at SunTrust Bank in Macon, was marked by consistent advancement and a commitment to excellence. As a seasoned commercial lender, department manager, and city president, he developed a deep understanding of financial markets and a keen ability to foster economic growth. His professional development was further enhanced by his graduation from the Georgia Bankers Association’s Executive Management Program and his attainment of multiple banking diplomas from the American Institute of Banking. Mr. Gresham's contributions to the community are equally diverse and impactful. He was a pioneer in the inaugural class of Leadership Peach in 1989, setting a precedent for civic engagement. His leadership as Chairman of the Peach County Board of Education from 2000 to 2006 demonstrated his dedication to local education. His active involvement in civic organizations, including past presidencies of the Fort Valley Kiwanis Club and the Byron Exchange Club, and his current role as Treasurer for the Ocmulgee Region of the Porsche Club of America, further highlights his commitment to community service. He also has served for 15 years and is currently the Chair of Flint Energies Credentials and Elections Committee. Bill and his wife, Cindy Melton Gresham, whom he married in 1980, are proud parents of their son, Jacob. Beyond his professional and civic pursuits, Bill is a certified Porsche driving instructor, sharing his passion for motorsports, and enjoys the tranquility of fishing and the challenge of golf

Mike Huckabee

Mike Huckabee's life is a narrative deeply intertwined with the fabric of Fort Valley, Georgia, his lifelong home. From his earliest days, he has been immersed in the community, developing a profound understanding of its unique character and needs. This intimate knowledge has fueled his entrepreneurial drive, culminating in the establishment of Lakeside Trees, Inc., a 125-acre tree farm that stands as a testament to his passion for agriculture and sustainable land management. His academic pursuits at Georgia State University provided a foundation for his business acumen, but it is his hands-on experience and dedication to community service that have truly defined his impact. Mr. Huckabee has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the region through his involvement in various organizations. He served as a valued Board member for the Flint Energies Foundation, contributing to its mission of supporting local initiatives. He also lent his expertise to the Perry, Georgia Tree Board, advocating for the preservation and enhancement of urban greenery. In 2016, he was appointed to the DAPC Board, where he continues to contribute his insights and experience. At the heart of Mike's life is his family. He and his wife, Maria, share a life enriched by their two children, grounding him in the values of community and family.
