August 28, 2024
The Office of U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff

Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock, alongside Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) and Congresswoman Nikema Williams (GA-05), are delivering Federal funding through the bipartisan infrastructure law’s Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant Program to build more EV chargers for Georgia drivers.

Sen. Ossoff is delivering $15 million to the Middle Georgia Regional Commission, which plans to install over 200 publicly available EV chargers across Middle Georgia, including in Milledgeville, Macon, Lizella, Roberta, Warner Robins, Perry, Bonaire, Centerville, Hawkinsville, Kathleen, Gray, Culloden, Juliette, Forsyth, Byron, Fort Valley, Eatonton, Jeffersonville, Allentown, Irwinton, Toomsboro, and Gordon.

“I’m pleased to help deliver this investment through the bipartisan infrastructure law alongside Senator Reverend Warnock, Congressman Bishop, and Congresswoman Williams to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Georgia. Every day, the bipartisan infrastructure law is upgrading transportation, energy, sewer and water, and broadband internet across our great state,” said Sen. Ossoff.

Sen. Ossoff continues delivering Federal resources through the bipartisan infrastructure law to strengthen Georgia’s infrastructure.
