Job Boom! Georgia’s Job Creation Up 19%

Consistent growth is key to a sustainable economy, and Georgia continued its upward trajectory with another record-breaking fiscal year, with annual investment increasing 131% and job creation up 19% compared to three years ago. Georgia's partnership approach to doing business and focus on innovation has helped secure significant growth in every corner of the state.
Other key FY23 figures include:
- Eighty-two percent of new jobs created are going to communities outside the 10-county Atlanta region.
- Mobility and cleantech projects alone delivered three investments of $1 billion or more.
- Investments in aerospace-related projects increased by more than 1,000% since FY21.
- Top international job creators were South Korea, Finland, Norway, Japan, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.
