Georgia's thriving logistics industry is a cornerstone of our economy, and we're nurturing the talent to keep it expanding. This dynamic sector accounts for one in nine jobs across Georgia, from orchestrating complex supply chains to moving goods efficiently by every mode of transport. Equipping students with the skills for these in-demand roles is paramount to Georgia's prosperity.

Our state provides extensive educational opportunities to support this rapid growth. The University System of Georgia, with 26 institutions, and 22 technical colleges offer a wide array of programs. Furthermore, the Georgia Department of Education's Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) program empowers high school students with practical experience for careers in logistics. More than 300 high schools statewide offer specialized pathways in transportation, distribution, and logistics, providing students with essential hands-on training.

Through collaborative efforts with industry and public and private partners, the Georgia Center of Innovation plays a key role in advancing logistics education. As students head back to classrooms, our collective aim is clear: to cultivate a workforce poised to drive Georgia's logistics future.
